Welcome to the Prep! Washington Preparatory High School is committed to educational excellence. Students build essential life and career skills through a comprehensive educational program. Washington Prep Generals are autonomous learners who graduate prepared for college, career, and community involvement.

Our mission is to nurture students who possess academic, technological, and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the global, 21st century workplace. In mutual cooperation with families and the community, we are committed to meeting the needs of our learners by providing rigorous and engaging instruction, fostered by inquiry, communication, collaboration and social-emotional well-being.

Prep Robotics Team Headed to Championship!

Congratulations to the WPHS Robotics Team, the TECH TITANS, for securing a spot in the LAUSD FTC Robotics Championship on Saturday, March 7th, at Roosevelt HS.

Prep Alum Return

Thank you to our recent Prep alumni who returned to campus to participate in an alumni panel for current Prep students. Our recent graduates (Class of 2022-24) who returned are currently attending UCLA, CSUN, USC, and Yale University. Once a General, ALWAYS a General!
